William Curtis, MD

Dr. William Curtis, Founder & Author of the Killing Diabetes program is also the Founder & Medical Director of Future Focus Family Medicine in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Curtis is a Corpus Christi native & a graduate of Calallen High School.  With a track & field scholarship, he completed his Bachelors Degree in Biology in 1994 from Baylor University. Thereafter, Curtis began his medical studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas - completing his Medical Doctorate in 1999.  Wanting to pursue a well rounded specialty, Curtis completed a three-year residency in Family Practice at the Corpus Christi Family Practice Residency Program (CCFPRP).  During his training, Curtis emphasized & sought special rotations in emergency medicine, preventative care, dermatology & plastic surgery.  He was awarded the prestigious Victor C. Calma Award in 2000.  This annual award is given to the top intern in the CCFPRP, a testament to his medical, interpersonal & leadership skills.  Upon completion of specialty training, Curtis entered private practice & ultimately helped guide his management & staff into what today makes up Future Focus Family Medicine ~ an innovative & integrated family medicine clinic with an attached vitamin boutique.

Currently, Curtis also leads & blogs routinely on the www.NRGTRIBE.com website.  This website serves as a resource for all the Future Focus branches, providing up-to-date information on health, wellness & lifestyle topics. Curtis recently launched a radio show known as, WFO Life Podcast that discusses anything & everything regarding mastering craft, life & self through the eyes of a medical professional, soccer coach, dad, husband & farmer with his dear friend, Lt. Col. Chris Story, USMC.
